MEETINGS FOR AUTUMN 2021

Prestbury Local History Society welcomes you back.

We are delighted that a significant number of our members are keen to return to our presentations at the WI hall, so your committee has arranged the following:

September 27th      “Travelling Through time” a Prestbury video.

We have used this interesting video before in 2015, but it is well worth a return viewing. It tells us about people and activities in our village throughout the ages using local voices.

October 25th                          “A day at the races” an entertaining talk by Peter McNeil.

November 22        “Charity Begins at Home”, how the Prestbury United Charities began by Tony Noel.

Your committee is actively booking our speakers for the new season, some of whom were not available this Winter, but will return in 2022.

A selection of PLHS books are still available from the Prestbury village stores and of course at our presentation evenings.

Chairman PLHS
